








Lantern House SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAMME (LH-SOP) was executed with the sole aim of encouraging indigent students to stay back at school and motivate new students for primary education in order to reduce the menace of high rate of out-of-school pupils residing in remote villages around Abeokuta.

These indigent students are deprieved of basic school itmes and are less-motivated for schol resumption each year. Some carry books in nylon bags and majority in thier hands. majority go toschool bare footed while many others manage dunlop sleepers.
Lantern House distributed free school bags and school sandals to pupils in schools visited with over eighty (80) beneficiaries in the first phase of the outreach programme.

(10th June, 2016): Lantern House Mentorship Banquet for Indigent Students With Low Academic Peformance

​Programme Details
We hosted indigent secondary school students with low academic performance to a Banquet of Inspiration, Reorientation, Motivation, Financial Empowerment and Sumptious Meal.
PArticipants included sixty (60) university undergraduates with low academic performnace, fifty (50) indigent secondary school students with low academic performance, academia, school regulators and operators.
The UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS Record Breaker, AYODELE DANIEL DADA who graduated with 5.00/5.OO CGPA was the guest speaker. He spoke on Navigating through Academic Thorns & Turns: MY NOTHING TO SOMETHING APPROACH.
The Commissioner of Youths & Sports in Ogun state, Honourable Afolabi Afuape, was the Chairman of the Banquet.

(Mach 2nd, 2016): Lantern House Distinguished Leadership Lecture for Start-Ups and Unemployed Youths

Lantern House hosted a Distinguished Leadership Lecture for SMEs, Start-ups and students with interest in enterpreneurs for their capacity development.

Four (4) Under-40-CEOs who are currently doing well in their businesses were invited as speakers who spoke on their Zero-Hero approach before they became global players in the SME industry.
