"Without my family, I'll be a long way from where I am today. My father insisted I quit sciences for the arts even before I started failing Mathematics, physics & further maths. When I moved to the arts, IT WAS LIKE A FISH IN THE WATER....
Professor Whole Soyinka is my role model for his linguistic & literary acumen. My Dad has been a lifelong mentor. Role models help you escape from some social inhibitions.
My desire for a 1st class degree evaporated in my first year in the university when I had friends who wanted to bag a degree regardless of the class. Peers have a strong influence on us. Time management is key. The onus lies on you to make the most of your work in order to reach the top. You must be able to juggle your responsibilities so as to have enough time for your family & other social engagements.
IT MAY BE THE LAST KEY IN A BUNCH THAT MAY FINALLY OPEN THE DOOR. You must persevere and persist till you achieve your goal."
DR. PAUL ONANUGA FINISHED PhD IN 4 YEARS & BAGGED PhD AT AGE 28.
