Mentorship Banquet: LANTERN HOUSE Approaches Education Ministry for Approval

With over One hundred and Fifty (150) undergraduates already registered for the Lantern House Mentorship Banquet, the Leadership Academy recently approached Ogun State Ministry of Education Science & Technology for approval.

This has become imperative in order to inform government on the aims & objectives of the event while anticipating guidance and direction. A meeting held with top officials of the Education ministry recently revealed the interest of the ministry in giving moral support for the laudable approach of LH.

As at Friday 22nd April, interested participants were still sending in their details for registration which were duly acknowledged by LH.

Organizers of the programme have reiterated their commitment towards providing a calm atmosphere conducive for Mentorship and Leadership training. The Coordinator of LH, Miss. Yemisi Laoye, confirmed the commitment of the Academy towards ensuring that participants would never return the same. She recalled the positive impact of such top notch event on her career as a student way back in school.

On his part, the Head HR, Mr. Oladapo Oke, recently advised well-meaning members of the public to come on board and join hands with LH members in coming up with fresh laudable ideas towards the capacity development of the Nigerian populace majority of whom are youths. Organizers at LH recently announced that Certificate of Participation would be issued to interested participants at the venue of the event to indicate the level of importance attached to the 2-hour banqueting mentorship programme.

MR. AYODELE DANIEL DADA & BARRISTER BOLA DISU are expected to deliver lectures at the event slated for June, 2016.
