Ogun Commissioner of Education Approves Lantern House Mentorship Banquet, Chairs Event

The Ogun state Ministry of Education, Science & Technology has graciously approved the Mentorship Banquet of Lantern House Leadership Academy for Positive Social Change.

In a letter dated 18th May, 2016, the Ministry stated in parts "we are pleased with your Body's complementary role to motivate, re-orientate and provide leadership training skills for indigent students with low academic performance." Therefore, the Honourable Commissioner has graciously approved the event."

As stated by Taiwo Olaleye, there are strong indications that the Honourable Commissioner of Education, Mrs Modupe Mujota, would be personally present at the event as the Chairman of the Lecture. Speakers at the Banquet include NIGERIA UNILAG 5.00 CGPA Record Breaker, AYODELE DANIEL DADA who will be speaking on "Navigating Through Academic Thorns & Turns: My Nothing to Something Approach" and BARRISTER BOLA DISU speaking on "Navigating Through Academic Thorns & Turns: WHERE IS THERE?

Participants at the event would include sixty (60) undergraduates, fifty (50) SSS3 students, Officers of the Ministry of Education, the Academia, Sponsors and other invited members of the public. At the event, ten (10) carefully selected indigent students would be awarded with Lantern House Charity Cash Grant Award of #10, 000 each which would be customized in the names of its Gold Sponsors and personally presented to beneficiaries by the sponsors. AYODELE DANIEL DADA would likewise be presented with the prestigious Lantern House OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD for his unprecedented feat at the University of Lagos.

Organizers of the event promised an atmosphere of soft music, motivation, sumptuous meal, reorientation etc all within 2hours 30mins.
